Does anybody know about C-diff in babies?
My 17month old gets it everytime he has to take oral anti-biotics.... It's just terrible! Any tips/ info/ suggestions on this?

I should also state that wealways give acidopholis, eats yogurt daily and we give a product call "florastor" which works like acidophilis but is a good yeast instead of bacteria. NONE of this helps ... we have tried and tried. Poor baby suffers because we have to give him injections of antibiotics instead of oral.

The best thing to do to prevent this is to give your child Acidophilus milk or yogurt when taking antibiotics. Whether you give him milk or yogurt, it MUST contain LIVE cultures of L. acidophilus. This will prevent the diarrhea.
