Question: How do you prevent catching a cold!?
Im going into hospital in 5 days for a Hysterectomy and everyone around me at work and at home has a cold!! Will the consultant still perform my operation if i have a cold!? does anyone know how to prevent catching one in the first place!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ow!.!. good luck with the surgery and recovery, girl! ): Anyway, well, the best way to avoid catching a cold (in my opinion) is to take lots of vitamin C, get plenty of rest, and don't forget to drink a lot of fluids!. Also try not to become too stressed, as well!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most likely no, they will not continue with the surgery if you are seriously sick with a cold!. You need to be healthy as can be before they administer Intravenous meds and you will be knocked out during surgery, so you need to be able to breathe in the anesthesia!. Even a dentist won't perform oral surgery if you have a simple cold!. It risks you getting an infection!. Advice: Lots of Vitamin C, wash hands, rest, and stay home if you can! When you get a cold, the virus most likely entered your body 3-4 days earlier, not the day before or the same day you get sick!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Also, if you can find a bacterial spay to use on door knobs, computer mouse and keyboard it may help!.

1 prevention tip is to wash your hands frequently!. Eat a good diet, take vitamins, exercise and get good rest!. Still hand washing is top preventer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Increase your immunity, eat citrus fruits (orange or sweet lime) daily!.
