Is a small lump that doesn't get bigger cancerous?!

Question:

Is a small lump that doesn't get bigger cancerous?

Answers:

Cancer is an umbrella term for over 200 different types and subtypes of disease. Each one is different, is treated differently, and can have different way of growing. Some cancers grow very slowly for years, while others can grow within days or weeks to enormous size. When there are more than one tumor, sometimes they will all grow at different rates. So, you could have one tumor growing slowly in a one area, while another one nearby is growing faster. Cancer means the uncontrollable growth of cells.

The only way that you will be able to tell if a small lump is cancerous is by having a doctor exam it first hand. The doctor can than decide if the lump warrants further investigation. One thing that might concern you is that maybe you can only feel or see one small lump . . but there may be others lodged deep within the body that you cannot see. Where there is one malignant tumor . . there may be others. Go to the doctor and be examined as soon as possible.

Good luck.
