Answers:
Heart cancer is an extremely rare form of cancer!. Heart cancer is divided into primary tumors of the heart and secondary tumors of the heart!. Most heart cancers are benign myxomas, fibromas, rhabdomyomas and hamartomas, although malignant sarcomas (such as angiosarcoma or cardiac sarcoma) have been known to occur!. In a study of 12,487 autopsies performed in Hong Kong seven cardiac tumors were found, most of which were benign!. Cancer, however, can also spread to the heart from other parts of the body!. In addition the heart can be affected by treatment for cancer in other parts of the bodyWww@Answer-Health@Com

The heart is essentially a muscle!. The type of cancer that strikes muscles, bone, joints, ligaments, fat, and soft tissue in the body is called Sarcoma!. There are over 60 subtypes of sarcoma!. Most sarcoma are considered rare in the general population, but more common in teens and young adults!. There are different kinds of heart cancer, some are primary and some are from a secondary source!. Heart cancer is called Cardiac Sarcoma!.

Unfortunately,I know at least three young people who have a primary sarcoma in or on their heart!. One young lady died about a year ago from mets to her heart!. The young man I know right now with this disease is not currently in treatment, he is married with an infant daughter, every week or two his heart will race out of control and it takes a great deal of effort to bring it back!. He is not expected to survive, so he is living with his cancer as best he can!. It is a rotten disease!.

Cancer affecting the heart muscle can be either primary or from a metastatic source!.

Fortunately the disease is rare!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Possible but extremely rare, usually from a primary cancer elsewhere, but I believe there is the odd case where the primary is in the heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
