Question: I think I'm having heart problems!?
I have been having some chest pains lately!. I'm only 26 and I have eaten poorly my entire life!. I'd like to go to the doctor and have my heart checked out!.!.!.what types of tests should I have done to ensure I have no problems at all!? Like blockages and build up and problems with my arteries!.!.!.any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am having the same problem (I'm 32 years old, non smoker, lite drinker, about 50 lbs overweight)!. My regular pysician listened to my heart and said it sounded Ok to him but I should see a cardiologist which i have done!. They fitted me with a 30 day event monitor (painless electrodes with wires attached to a monitor you wear around your neck), I had an EKG (again done with electrodes) a doppler ultrasound of my lower extremities, basically inside of legs, feet, ankles, etc and an electrocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) none of these are invasive and will tell the doc if theres blockage!. Your first start should be an EKG!. If you have no family history of heart disease and aren't a smoker they might not go so extreme as my Doctor has if the EKG shows a regular heartbeat!. Good luck! Get it checked out, just in case!. I know you're young but sometimes there's that rare case and you should at least speak with your general MD about it!. It really depends, have you been lifting anything heavy!? Do you smoke!? Any other chest/ lung infections!? It could be your heart, but it couls also be your heart or a host of other problems!. And if you have been eating poorly, dont you think its about time you started eating right!? Its a small saccrifice to pay to feel good and healthy dont you think!? Start with an ekg and a stress test!. If there is a problem they'll do catherization!. You could also ask for a C reactive protein test which can indicate inflamation of the vessels!.

It is not necessary that every chest pain is of heart!. We have have learned that "PAIN ABOVE UMBLICUS, AGE ABOVE 35 MAY B CARDIAC PAIN"!. u r young u cant have heart pain!. there are several conditions which resemble caridaic pain!. for example stomach flatus (gas) feels pain in chest!.
Cardiac pain often occurs after heavy work and stomach pain occures after eating or early in the morning when stomch is empty!.
ur condition may be due to reflux esophagitis, stomach ulcer, GERD, or simply production of air due to bacteria!. Antibiotics is the treatmrnt for that!.
Remember:::::: Cardiac pain occurs after heavy work!.
Cardiac pain is constricting in nature like a band worn around ur chaest and being tightened!.
Cardia pain releives by rest of 10-30 minutes!.
