For anyone who has ever had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease?!

Question: For anyone who has ever had Pelvic Inflammatory Disease!?
Please onyl answer if you have had PID as I want first hand experience!.!.!.thanks!.

Ok I got pelvic inflammatory disease because my ex cheated on me and gave me chlamydia, because I didnt know and it went untreated it developed into pretty bad PID very quickly!. So much so I was in hospital being treated for 2 weeks, I could barely get out of bed to go to the toilet and was continually sick, I lost a stone in 2 weeks!.
This was 4 years ago!.
2 years ago I was getting really bad pains again, especially period pains but x100000 worse than I had ever had before so I got referred to a specialist who did an operation to remove scar tissue left from the PID, he said it was the worst he had seen, my womb and fallopiean tubes had become stuck together and stuck to my bowel!.
After he said I was normal now but never really answered the question would I still be able to have children, he sort of just said who knows in a round about way!.

My question is has anyone who has suffered from this had children/struggled to have children/unable to have children!.
Do you still get bad pains because I do 2 weeks before my Period and throughout (so most of the time!)

I'm 21 now and have a lovely boyfriend who I want to have children with but now I am getting so worried, I havent been taking my pill for 3 months and nothing has happend!?
