As anyone taken Metformin for their diabetes and what were your experiences?

I take 500mg of Metformin twice a day (1/2 hr before breakfast and dinner). That, along with a healthy lifestyle, allows me to manage a pretty good blood sugar balance. I've had no problems with it. I'm typically between 90-105 fasting and registered a 5.8 HbA1C the last time I was checked out. Read more here:
