Answers:
We use what we call the BRATT diet!. Bananas, rice, applesauce, tea and toast!. These kinds of food are easy on the digestive system!. Be creative and good luck!. You are a wonderful friend for caring so much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Flowers, as long as she doesn't have pollen allergies!. Ask her if there is a book or magazines that she would like for you to bring!. If she has a laptop, you can bring some DVDs for her to watch!. A deck of cards is always good (bring a new deck so you aren't bringing germs in) and play a few games with her if she is up to it!.
Be sure to ask her if she is up for a visitor at the time you visit, if not, just leave the things you brought her and a card with your phone # on it so she can reach you if she wants company or anything else!.
Don't try to hug her, her gut is sore and movement like that can be really painful!. So can laughing, so don't actively try to make her laugh too much!. It is the best medicine, but give her some time to heal!.
Do NOT bring her any food, she may be on a limited or restricted diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What are hre favorite things!? Music!? Maybe some CD's/iPod!? Maybe photographs of shared memories to start good conversations!. Possibly a book!. Anything that you can both talk about, to get her mind off the present and on to fonder or better times or scenarios!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
