Thinning hair and psroasis...please help.?

A very good friend of mine (female) has had psroasis (sic) for a while but now her hair is starting to thin as well. This is really bringing her down and it is awful to see her in such a way because she is an amazing person - sometimes people make obvious comments about her scalp/hair and it is awful to see her react to their stupidity.

She is due to see a dermatologist but she is in a very long queue. She is fair skinned and has dark blond hair. She also uses a hairdryer regularly and sometimes has her hair lightened.

Well psoriasis's isn't going to to make her hair go thinner , my father and two sisters have had psoriasis all there life so i no a good bit about it and there i no way it would your friend should get a shampoo with poly tar in or this will help allot also the dermatologist will help her more and may give her something stronger , you say your friend has been sick for a while allot of times when were sick are hair takes the damage there is allot more follicles for the germs to attack , is your friend stresses about anything or stresses about being sick because she could have the start of alopecia thinning of the hair is a symptom and little bald patches , you sound like good friend and i no what its like for your friend I've seen me sisters going throw all the looks from people as well , tell your friend to keep her chin up and hope all goes well.
