How safe is the Gardasil vaccine?!
Question: How safe is the Gardasil vaccine!?
I took my fourteen year old daughter to get the vaccine and now I'm hearing about some young girls dying from it or getting sick from the vaccine!. My daughter hasn't had any bad reaction to it yet and it scares me!. She got the last of three shots about 5 months ago will she be fine please I need to know because I'm worry sick about this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The vaccine is very safe!. I was following the clinical trials for it for a while!. They did 4 years of trials, which in the world of medicine is a VERY long time (thing you don't even think about but probably take on a regular basis underwent far shorter trials than Gardasil)!. It also had one of the highest rate of effectiveness that I have ever seen in ANY kind of study!.
And y'know what!? I went and got it for myself!. Put my money where my mouth is, I got it!. And I'm quite happy!.
4000 women will DIE of cervical cancer in the US this year!. Another 11000 will survive cancer, but still have to endure surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation!.
The naysayers fall into a few camps: the people who object to vaccines in general, and conservatives who are against all kinds of sexual activity!. They are the ones who are scaring people with RUMORS of side effects!. Not even substatiated, verifiable reports but RUMORS!.
Women die from cervical cancer!. They lose their fertility to cervical cancer!. They're NOT dying or being sterilized by Gardasil!.
Please stop worrying and don't let the wackjobs get to your head!.

You should ALWAYS do research on vaccines and other things that will be injected into your child!.
This vaccine is fairly new and people don't know how it will affect girls down the line!.There have been reports of girls passing out and even some dying!.
Just because your doctor gives it to you, that doesn't mean it is safe!.
It also doesn't protect against cervical cancer in general!.The commercial is very deceiving!.
It only protects against cervical cancer IF your child gets the HPV virus via sexual intercourse!.!.and even then she is not guarenteed to get cervical cancer because of it!.
They also said that the vaccine might not assist everyone!.
I wouldn't worry about it right now!.What's done is done!.!.you thought you did what was best for your child and that is all that matters!.Dwelling on what might happen isn't fair to you especially if nothing happens!.

I heard a lot about this and I'm happy I didn't get it; my mom was the one who talked me out of it!. I'm sure your daughter will be fine!. I believe she would of had a reaction to it by now if something was up!.

generally, if there is going to be a vaccine injury, your daughter would have had a reaction closer to the time when she actually got the vaccine!. if it has been this long with no side effects, she should be okay!.
