How can I get rid of poison ivy????

I mean from my skin. It's in the early stage and i'm not itching nor touching it. I heard from one person that he sprayed clorox all over it and it went away. Can you give me similar home ways of getting rid of it?

Answers:

try using some germ-x on it. it helps mosquito bites stop itching and it dries it up, so maybe germ-x would work on poison ivy, too.
