Help! My 3 1/2 yr old was just diagnosed with egg allergies...?!
Question: Help! My 3 1/2 yr old was just diagnosed with egg allergies!.!.!.!?
My 3 1/2 yr old was just diagnosed with a 4+ degree egg allergy!. Her allergist said she is allergic to the egg whites only!. He also said she can have baked goods because they are cooked a long time and the egg allergens are minimal!. My question is can she have a frozen meal that says in ingredients: contains eggs!. Or can she have snacks that have egg as an ingredient!?

Has the allergist tested her to see if she can handle baked goods with egg in them!? My son's allergist said the same thing but when we tested him, he was still very allergic!. The dr was shocked!.
I would avoid the frozen meals and snacks!. That's what we were told when we were looking into whether or not he could handle baked goods with egg in them!.

I agree, I would have him tested before letting him eat anything that contains eggs!. My son was diagnosed with a peanut allergy at age 2 (4 years ago)!. I found a website with a lot of information on food allergies!. It is www!.foodallergy!.org It was started by a woman who's son was diagnosed with food allergies!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
