Question: What can you do for someone that has alcohol poisoning and your waiting for the paramedics!?

I would think, if they're conscious, try to keep them awake!.
If they're passed out, check breathing, and adminster CPR if needed!. I would put such a person lying down, on their side, so in case they throw up, they won't choke on their own vomit!. This is kind of gross, but if they do vomit, check that they're not obstructed!. You might even have to sweep their mouth out with your finger!. Or you might need to administer artificial respiration!. I know, but you'd be saving a life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Roderick has the right idea!. The only thing I can add is to induce vomiting if you are a long way from emergency services!. Most often those prone to poisoning themselves with alcohol don't realize that the danger doesn't end when they pass out!. They may have just been "chasing the worm" in a bottle of Mescal, etc!.They've passed out but there is more alcohol that hasn't even started being metabolized,if it doesn't come out they could lose more than the few brain cells they are using!.

Really kick em for being stupid!! thats so stupid, i know too many people who have died from too much alcohol!!! I just dont get it, or over doing anything stupid I guess sometime they will grow up! try a cold rag and keep them awake !

After you call 911 place them on their left side!. This is called the left lateral recumbent position aka the "recovery position"!. It helps prevents aspiration of vomit, as well as helps to keep the patient's airway open!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
