Answers:
More than anything you definitely need to go to the doctor!. ASAP
There could be a multitude of things wrong, and I'd hate to break it to you but:
1) You could be experiencing the first mild stage of emphysema!.
2) If you have had unprotected sex within the past 17 months you could be experiencing side effects from a recent HIV infection (85% of smokers engage in risky sexual activity)
3) You could be experiencing pleurisy which is fluid in the lining of your lungs!.

Wow, you need to see a doctor, you may have pneumonia!. Pneumonia can kill you and if you're not oxygenating well you can have permanent brain damage, and it can ruin organs!. Yellow phlegm is never good, and not being able to breath is also a big red flag!. Go to the ER and get checked out, dont bother calling, they will only tell you they cant give advice on the phone and will suggest you come in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
