What would you rather do? (scoliosis related) PLEASE ! :[?

Okay so i have scoliosis-38 degrees on both curves ( i have an S) 3 months ago it was 34 and 37. My doctor said that i would come back in 3 months and we would talk about getting a brace.

Then now (3 months later) i come back, he said that it didnt improve that much. But then he said that now hes not sure if the braces work and its not um enjoyable wearing them so now he said next time we meet we might talk about getting surgery depending on the x-rays.

So i got my period about 3 months ago ( im 13 turning 14 in sept btw and VERY tall for my age, im about 5"6 maybe more im taller then my mom)

LAST time he said that i will stop growing about 2 years after i get it. But now this time, the first doctor said that once u get ur period its like the period at the end of a sentence. Then the 2nd doctor (same as the one that said i will stop groing in about 2 years) said that i will have about 6 months-1 year of growth.

So they told me to come back in one year. But then I thought about this other girl who had scoliosis with about the 30s degree. But then she came back in 6 months and it went up to 60 degrees. I know mines wont go up that fast but still I was kinda scared since she has to get surgery now.

So I was scared and I asked to come earlier.
Why ? Because if I came later I was scared it would get A LOT more worse (alough a longer time span)
So I asked to come earlier so I would know if I need surgery or not earlier but it could(and prob will) get worse but in a shorter time span.

So im kind of regrettin it since I think I am still growing. Im sorry if this is confusing and long, please message me or answer with a question im desprate :[

So all in all the question is: Should I go to the doctor earlier ( like in December) or a bit longer?

i WANT to wear a brace but freaking doctor wont let me >.<

i would say to go to the doctor eariler. I've been wearing a brace for scoliosis for about a year, and my curves are like 30 and 28. it really sucks and when you first start off it really hurts but its alot better than needing metal rods in your spine. I'm not an expert but i would go to to the doctor eariler andd keep going frequently just to check, but you're most likely not going to be growing anymore so you'll probably be fine. just keep getting check ups to make sure it's not getting any worse.
