That happened to someone I know!.
You can have mild heart attacks that would to you feel more like anxiety or panic attacks!. Sounds like that's what happened to you!.

you may have had an abnormal EKG that suggested a previous heart attack with some scarring of the heart muscle!. This could be confirmed or ruled out by having an ultrasound of the heart (sometimes the EKGs can give confusing or spurious results, or may be misinterpreted)!.
if you are diabetic, it is possible to have a heart attack and not know it (because the nerves that transmitt pain are not working properly)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be panic attacks!. They make you feel like you are having a heart attack!. When this happens try breathing from a paper bag and see what happens!.

Panic attacks are painful and scary!.

If they are saying that you had a heart attack then it must of been a minor one!. Some people don!.t even know they had one!. It can start as simple as a heart burn then getting sick and months later you can have a tightening of the chest and go away !. But that is a sign of big attack happening!. Are they at least medicating you at all!? Blood work will tell you that you have had a heart attack!.

Some people take an aspirin and feel better!. I do not know but if you are not happy with the response then go see another doctor!. Good luck!.
