No, you can't get your dog sick because they don't get sick with the same viruses we get sick with!. When they get a cold, the cold is from different germs!. And when we get a cold it is from different germs!. So, dogs do not get sick with the same germs that we get sick with!. =) Get better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Flu viruses usually DON'T mutate and jump to humans!. Only a few have, and they've made headlines in the form of pandemics (the Bird Flu originated from a bird, and the 3 other pandemics of the 1900's were from animals such as birds and pigs)!. Very rare!.
I would say no!. But bacterial infections, like pneumonia, can be passed along!. My 2 kids and my CAT were all on antibiotics at the same time (yes, my cat was burning up with a fever and sick with pneumonia)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Flu is not transmitted across species between humans and dogs!. Colds can be transmitted, though, and occasionally measles (which is distemper in dogs)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
