Question: My boyfriend just coughed up a blood clot! (help!)!?
My boyfriend was just walking home when he coughed up a blood clot!.
he is 19
and the night before he was drinking!.!.!. don't know if that's important or not!.
he's just a social drinker nothing heavy!.
So don't give me any of that crap about underage drinking!
and he said afterwards is stomach hurt!.!.!.
i told him to go to the ER!.!.!.
but he said he doesn't have insurance
and he can't afford anymore hospital bills!.!.!.
he said if it happens again he'll go (stupid i know)
also he doesn't have a cold or flu!.
and he says he always feels like crap!
and is always complaining about stomach pains!
i just wanted to know what it might be!?

you and he won't ant to hear my advice, but here goes!.
four years ago my wife did the same thing, it ended up being pneumonia, from which she died within two weeks!.
if he doesn't go to an e!.r!. he won't have to worry about any medical insurance, he might be dead!.
wife felt like crap also!.
he needs x-rays and testing done at a hospital!.
he'll just have to tell them he has no insurance!.
hospitals are still required to give services to the poor!.
go with him NOW!. make him go!.
tell him if he loves you he'll have to go NOW!.

Did he cough it up from his lungs or has he been vomiting from the hangover !? The alcohol may have irritated his stomache and hopefully that is the cause, if it was from his lungs he needs medical care asap!. edited bit!. TB is still around and has started to become drug resistant because of druggies not staying on treatment programs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Get him to the hospital right away!. It sounds as if he may be bleeding internally!. Don't worry about the hospital bills!. Most hospitals have programs to help people with no insurance!. That sounds like tuberculosis/consumption, a disease where you cough up the flesh of your lungs and soon die!. But in any case, coughing up blood is very serious! Get him to the hospital! Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
