Does doxycycline work for acne?!
Question: Does doxycycline work for acne!?
My doctor put me on doxycyline because oral meds didnt seem to work!. I've been using it for a week now, its really easy to take, 2 pills a day!.!.!.!.!.!.!.for the first few days acne started clearing up alot and skin tone became more even and it started to look clean!.!.!.!.!.i never got a new pimple for days and t zone was completely clear! but then yesterday and today i broke out badly!! depressing because my hopes were up, Is this normal!?!? Will it get better, i kno its only been a week!? has doxycycline worked for you and how long does it take!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine did the same thing!. Got better then went downhill again, then got better!. It went back and forth for a couple months but each time the acne reappeared, it wasn't as bad!. I kept the doxy up for 3-4 months then started YAZ to completely clear everything up!. Less than a month later, absolutly nothing!. No pimples, nothing!. The two worked amazing for me!.
The only negative to the Doxy is it messes with my acid reflux which is pretty annoying!. Just a warning!. It is also known to cause some issues with people that dont have the pre-existing condition!. The yaz will also mess with your emotions for awhile!. The first week on it pretty much sucks!. If you do go on it, just know you will probably be really up and down for a little while!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

They usually put you on Minocycline for acne!. It seems to work really well for most people and is not expensive!. You may want to try that instead of the Doxycycline!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
