What does a stomach ulcer feel like?!

A burning, aching, gnawing pain between the belly button (navel) and the breastbone!. Some people also have back pain!. The pain can last from a few minutes to a few hours and may come and go for weeks!.
Pain that usually goes away for a while after you take an antacid or acid reducer!.

Bloating or nausea after eating!.
Vomiting!.
Vomiting blood or material that looks like coffee grounds!.
Passing black stools that look like tar or stools that have streaks of dark red blood!.

I was diagnosed with a duodenal ulcer!.
If you take a point about one and a half inches to the right if your belly button,just below the ribs!.That is where the sharp pain was,like a knife!.It was food related!.When I had something to eat,the pain stopped!.One to two hours later,the pain was back!.Felt nauseous,lost weight and could not eat first thing in the morning!.
See your doctor,there is medication to heal ulcers,if you have one!.
They will do tests to find out where an ulcer is and the tests are not traumatic!.

it would really depend on where the ulcer would be!.!. if you think you have one go to the doctors and get checked out!.!. they will do a ultra sound too see if there is one thereWww@Answer-Health@Com
