Question: Grandfather has only a few months to live, what can I do to make the most of the time he has left!?
He is in his early 80's, has leukemia and has been sent home today (basically to die) after four months in the hospital, and told he has less than six months to live!. What can I do special to make the most of the time he has left!? Also I believe he cannot even leave bed so that limits stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Record him telling you all about his life if he's able to do it!. You'll want to remember the last thing he ever said to you!. Read to him!. Tell him about what's going on with your life so he doesn't dwell on the inevitable!. Tell him you love him while you have the chance!. When he does go, get a notebook and visit the cemetery and write him notes about what's going on in your life just like you are actually talking to him!. Put them in a ziploc sandwich baggie if you don't mind other people from your family reading them--take the flower vase out of his headstone and put the baggie in there!. Or just keep them in the notebook to read every once in a while!. Your grandfather will be happy, knowing there's someone who cared enough to make his last days special!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Grandparents don't really mind small things!. Always be there with him!. Make him know that you're always there and want to be remembered!. Help him when he needs something!. It would please him much more than an ear-blasting party!. :) Remember to greet him good night and good morning!. It really does help!. :) Also, pray that God gives him more time with you and the rest of your family!. No one can predict when someone's about to die!. What the doctors said may not come true!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
