CONSTANT NOSEBLEEDS: My male friend's 14-year-old son is about 40 pounds overweight.?
He lives with his mother who is huge. All she feeds him is tons of fatty meat and as much sweets as he wants.
My friend took him camping for three days and he was constantly getting nose bleeds that would last for ten minutes or so. He told my friend that this happens all of the time. Why do you think this is happening?
Answers:
weight has nothing to do with the nosebleeds although he should change his diet as early obesity usually leads to health issues early in life.
It could be due to allergies and dryness. He should make sure to blow his nose in the a.m. when he is stuffy and also use a saline type nasal spray to keep his nose lubricated.
