Question: I really need advice on ANXIETY!. Does anyone feel like this!? Please HELP!!!!?
Here's the deal!. I find that I am always anxious!. I don't want to go on meds and my doctor told me that im too young to take meds (20 years old)!. I find that I get nervous over anything!. When im expecting someone, when I go somewhere like a doctor or a friend, when I watch scary/thriller movies, when I go out with a guy, ext!.
I always have sweaty hands as a result of that!. I sweat even more when I think about it more (kind of like a cylce)!. My hands are even sweating right now!. I dont' know what to do! Please give me advice!. I know they say "don't think about it" but that does not seem to work!. I also am nervous about how my life is turning out!. I never had a boyfriend and that makes me nervous too!. PLEASE HELP!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a nervous breakdown and after that panic attacks and constant anxiety!. I dissolved that within 5 years with one on one twice a week Gestalt therapy and without meds!.
Gestalt therapy can lead to quick, dramatic results for people with anxiety!. The main idea is to break the pattern of avoidance and to confront the anxiety!.
ANXIETY is conceived of as leaving the present, not being in the here and now, "the gap between the now and the later!. Will I get applause, or will I get tomatoes!?" Fritz Perls (founder of gestalt Therapy) also described holding the breath as a central component in anxiety!.
I almost got used to my anxiety and when I look back I see that I had a very heightened awareness of my surroundings that enriched my life!. I wrote a diary and painted a lot!.

Alice Miller, a Swiss psychologist had anxiety attacks until she was ~ 52 and dissolved it finally with a therapy that was originally designed for child therapy!.

Anais Nin had anxiety attacks for the longest time and led a very creative and interesting life!.
