Question: Methotrexate for a 13 year old!?
My brother was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when he was 11!. He has tried two other medicines, both just kept him at a "smoldering" state!. Now he is to begin taking methotrexate!. Is this a good idea!? I've looked up the side effects and they all look pretty severe!. He's only 13!.!.!.your views please!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are absolutely right!. Methotrexate has alot of severe side effects!. I don't know enough about the current treatments for Chrohn's disease so I starred your question hoping that one of the Docs that are in my contacts can help you out!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
