Should i get tested for diabetes?
Recently, i got very ill. I through up everything i ate from Monday - Wednesday, so i decided to go to the hospital from Wednesday to early Thursday. When i got my bloodwork done, the doctor told me there was something odd about my kidneys, and something about my electrolytes were off, but im getting more blood work done next week to see if maybe that was just an affect of my illness.
When i was at the hospital, i was very dehidrated so the doctors pumped huge bags of saline solution into me through an IV, along with some gravol and some painkillers. Well since ive been sick, i cant stop drinking, even though i through up everything i drank. Im okay now, but i just cant stop drinking. Today i had over 5 L of water. I go pee about twice or three times every hour, and although im very hungry now, i drink so much i cramp up my stomach and it hurts to eat. Diabetes also runs heavily in my fathers side, so should i get tested just to be safe? or is this just an after affec of my sickness

Yes you should be checked for Diabetes and your kidneys needs to be checked too. You may also want to be check for the stomach flu.
