Question: CONJUCTIVITS!!! help!!?
ok!. this morning i woke up with conjunctivitis!.
ive been cleaning my eyes all day with water and very softly using cotton buds to get that crap out!.
my eyes are very red and sore!. like i touch just above/below my eye and it reallllly hurts!.
my sister realised before that she had some eyedrops for conjunctivitis from the last time she had it, which was about 10 days ago!.
its called "Chloramphenicol (SI) eye-drop 0!.5%"
it says to instill 2 drops, 4 times a day!.
im on school holidays for a further 2 weeks, so i wont have to stay home from school or anything!.
if i keep this up, how long will it take to treat!?
can someone give like a maximum and minimum time frame!?

With the eye drops your symptoms should start to be alleviated after a full day or two!. You can also take some paper towels, fold them into small squares, soak them with ice water and place them on your eyes!. It may help to take some of the sting out of he infection in the meantime!.
Make sure to throw away the paper towels after you use them!. You probably caught the infection from your sister, please be sure to wash your hands each time after you touch your eyes and do not share towels!. Otherwise you are likely to pass the infection back and forth, over and over again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it is conjunctivitis you have then normally it take about 1 week!.
viral conjunctivitis would take about 2-3 weeks!.
worse cases could take upto a month!.

Are you sure you have conjunctivitus!? It's not usually painful!. You might have a stye!.

I would go to the chemist and get a cream for yourself they will tell you how long it would take to clear up I think maybe a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it must only be srore form touching it!.!.!.
