What if I really do have ADD?!
Question: What if I really do have ADD!?
Ever since middle school,people and my friends would always joke around with me telling me i MUST have ADD!.!.!.i never really thought anything about it though!.But then today when i was just introduced to someone and they EVEN mentioned i must have ADD i kind of started to reconsider passing this joke up!.I'm a junior in highschool now,and i guess you could say i'm pretty hyper!.I defiantly have problem concentrating somethings,but isnt that normal!?Its somewhat hard for me to stand straight without moving,which is what kind of worrys me!.This whole time i thought all of this was competlely normal until now!.
What do you think!?

Not everyone has to take meds!. It is a choice!. As long as you can function and are doing fine, meds might not be for you!.
You could go and get a diagnosis, but would it change anything!?!?!? If you are happy and things are going well, who cares!!!
And not all "hyper" people have ADD!. And most people have problems concentrating at times!

You might!. I asked my doctor if I have it and she looked at me like I was crazy and rolled her eyes!. I hate her!. Anyway-thats another story!. haha!. Yeah, the only way they treat ADD is medication and the meds have some crazy side effects, so really its just that you need to accept it and TRY to control it on your own!.!.and I don't know how to do that!. :( sorry!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
