Colostomy bag question!?
My mom had surgery last month for a colostomy bag due to her cancer!. Ever since she had it , it has been producing waste constantly now, all of a sudden it has stopped working!. Her ENTIRE bag fills up with swollen intestine at times now and they are rock hard feels like a gold ball is inside them!. When she lays down, some of it will go back inside on its own!.!. but i have to massage them back in!. When the lump is present, it cant be placed back in!. Now mom is having bouts of pain just under the incision and in the upper pelvic region!. Could the tumor be growning rapidly and pusing the intestines out!?!? If there is a blockage can they unblock it now that she has a bag!? what to do!?

Call her doctor now!.
I am very sorry!. I understand she does not want to go back to the doctor, but without examination it is difficult to tell!. Could be infection, could be the tumor, intestinal obstruction!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go back to your doctor! Colostomy bags, post-surgical concerns and worrisome, painful symptoms are not something to post on an internet website about; they require professionals!.
For right now, call the Nurses hotline for your province to get a qualified RN on the line within minutes and ask her if you need to go to the ER!.
