Is there another treatment for lice besides over the counter products?
My daughter has had a recurring run in with lice, and we cannot seem to get rid of it. I am using RID, which is loaded with chemicals, and I don't feel good about putting this on her head over and over again. We have been washing all her clothes and sheets in hot water as instructed.

Walgreens sells a comb called ROBI COMB it's electronic kills them w/ no HARM to the child
also once you get rid of them put product (hairspray, gel etc) in her hair EVERY DAY rather your going any where or not they can't stand the stuff
also get a matressess cover that zips up all the way around the matrress get them for the pillows too
Vaccum the floor regulary and make sure you get in all the nookes and crannies really well
I tried ALL THE HOME REMEIDIES (mayo, vegitable oil, vasoline, flea shampoo(that is for dogs), leaving conditioner on the hair over night and a ton more and NONE of them worked, I bought the robie comb, and only used TEE TREE OIL shampoo ( u can buy pure tee tree oil at walmart and add it to any of ur shampoo) and of course re checked with a nit comb several times a day untill they were all gone
and since i've been putting product on the hair NOTHIN has come back
