Question: Are these signs of OCD!?
My friend has ocd and he says that he thinks i have a small case of it!. I always have to do things a certain number of times or a certain length(For me it's 11 times)!. Also, words or songs make me do this weird thing!. I basically count out the syllables or beats with my fingers and it always has to end with my pinky!. I am also a perfectionist and I think ocd might have something to do with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone is OCD to varying degrees, especially people who are perfectionists!. If people other than your friend are noticing, or if it's having an impact on your life, you should see a professional!. If it's not bothering you, then it's just a little eccentricity that makes you who you are!. You might want to test yourself!. Try doing something just 8 times instead of 11!. If it bothers you to the point that you can't resist, you may have a problem!.

Yep sounds like you have it!. I have to lock my front door and then the back door !.!.then I check them both four times or i can't sleep!. I also count my steps when I walk and I have to stop on an even number!. I get out of bed three times to check on the kids every night before I can sleep!. There are other weird things like this that I do but i never remember or notice them until my husband points them out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
