not sure of the spelling
Answers:
I have never heard of the one you are asking about. Could you mean helicobacter bacteria infection? It is a type of spiral bacteria that are able to survive the severe acidity of the stomach. This bacteria causes in infection. This infection is responsible for most ulcers and, left untreated, it can lead to cancer.
It is not caused by being in an institution! It can be found in humans and dogs and, in fact, about half the world has this bacteria. It is picked up via contaminated food, fluids, or utensils so is found mostly in areas with poor sanitation. Often the housefly is to blame.
The most common symptoms are abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, gas and bloating.
Treatment usually involves a combination of antibiotics. One alone does not usually do it.
