Question: Brown Mucus In Throat!?
Okay!. I am an 18 year old male who just had a tonsillectomy!. It has been 5 days since my operation!. The pain is going down but each morning I wake up with an incredibly dry throat and I eventually spit out this brown mucus stuff!. I am taking 4 oxycodone, 4 cephalexin and 4 10mls of Lignocain oral gel a day!. Is the brown mucus stuff in the morning normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is probably dried or old blood, aslong as the mucus isn't yellow or a green I dont think there is anything to worry about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
could it possibly be dry blood (would be brown)!?!? its probably healing!.!.!.
