How To Treat Cat Scratch Fever?!
Question: How To Treat Cat Scratch Fever!?
About 3 weeks ago I was scratched by a "stray" kitten!. I immediately washed it off and used a Q-tip with some rubbing alcohol to disinfect it!.
My hand was alright until about a week afterward when in the area where i was scratched it began to swell up!. I thought I had gotten bit by a bug or something because it was really itchy!. Than after a week passed I began feeling a sharp pain on my armpit on the arm where I was scratched!.
I did some research online and a person who was scratched by a cat said his armpit was hurting too and that he had been scratched by a cat!. Another person responded to his post telling him he may have cat scratch fever!. Yesterday about 3 weeks after getting scratched i have a fever, I am light-headed, I have the chills at night, and my armpit hurt!. If i do have cat scratch fever what can i do to help treat it!?
Please don't respond saying there is no such thing as cat scratch fever it is actually caused by a a bacteria in the cat's claw i didn't ask if it was real i asked how could i treat it!.

its usually treated with antibiotics!.
