Question: Test's says I'm negative but my bf's confession made me doubt the results !?
May this year, I felt itchy on my V and got yellow discharge, I know it's a symptom for gonorrhea so I went to my Ob and had gram stain on me, the result is negative though she said maybe it was just starting to develop so she gave me an antibiotic!. First week of September, I had my annual pap smear and ask my ob to check especially for signs of STD, my result were again negative, the only problem they found is the excessive discharge which is caused by the presence of fungal organisms!. I was given a suppository and betadine feminine wash, after a week, it's gone!. A week after I got the result, just when I got convinced that I am clean, my boyfriend confessed, he wanted to be open and honest with me before our wedding, he had an affair with other girl that last for 6months, he ended the relationship because of guilt but it's a bit late for that, the other girl told him she's infected with chlamydia!. We were sexually active even before the confessions that's why I'm a bit confused with the results, I'm sure that if she's got it, my boyfriend has it and have transmitted it to me but my results says I'm negative!. What do I do!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should wait 3 months and get tested again!. I know 3 months is a long time but sometimes it can take this long to show up on a test!. As for your bf, he's a jerk and you deserve better but you already knew that :)

ADD: Depnding on if it is chlamydia or not, a blood test or a urine test should be able to determine anything further!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't marry a cheater!. You can never trust him again!.
I hope he feels guilty for doing that to you!. (cheating)

I would wait another 2 weeks and ask to get tested again!. Tell your doctor what happened!.

Good luck!. You don't deserve that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have not been tested for Chlamydia *since* you last had sex with him then you should get tested!. You may not have symptoms but could still have it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All you really can do is request that your boyfriend get tested, and get retested yourself!. What a terrible situation to be in!

I went through something similar where a 3 week fling of mine revealed to me that he had gonorrhea a few weeks later!.!.!. I've been tested tons of times since (for annual checkups) and nothing has ever shown!. All that to say that you don't necessarily contract the infection!.

I totally understand your worrying!. And, do you plan on staying with this guy, will you be able to trust him after the fact!?

Best of luck with everything!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your results say your "negative" your (-)!. If you are still concerned about it I would consider going back and retesting in a few weeks or month and see what the outcome of that turns out to be!. An if this other female had this type of disease it would have shown up to be positive if your so called boyfriend contracted it during sex, maybe they use protection but that does't fully protect that much, So if she is saying that she has chlamydia I would definatly look into that, talk to your doctor and say hey look my boyfriend had affair for 6 mths and I guess this female he was having sexual relations with had chamydia, An I am worrying about if I have it even tho I have gotten tested for it two times, and see what he/she says about it!.It does't hurt to ask your family doctor or even health provider that helps you in situations your concerns about your health!.
