I have been taking this HIV medication, and my heart skips a beat, what should I!

Question:

I have been taking this HIV medication, and my heart skips a beat, what should I do?

The medication that I have been taking is Truvada. I have read some where that it can cause some problems, but I don't know about it. I have tried to get in touch with my doctor's office, but all I am getting is the run around. Can someone give me advice about the Truvada, and what they have experienced with it. Should I tell my doctor about it, or should I ignore it?

Answers:

Instead of calling, I would go down to speak with you Doctor in person. If they are not attentive to your needs consider changing to a different Doctor. Like any medication, if you are experiencing abnormal reactions, you should discontinue use and contact your physician or your pharmacist. Did you contact your pharmacist yet?
