I think i might have lupus...what should i do?!

Question: I think i might have lupus!.!.!.what should i do!?
sorry this is a long question!.!.!.i'd just like to describe what's wrong somehow:
i've had problems with my hands and arms (RSI, Raynald's) which lead to some blood tests!. i had abnormal anti-nuclear antibodies so the doctor said they want to keep an eye on me because i might get lupus!. they did a blood test recently and ANA were abnormal again!. the doctor says no action needed!.
my problem is that i've read about lupus and realized that some people's problems are identical with mine!. i don't talk to the doctors about these smaller problems i have because every time i did they made me feel like i'm a hypochondriac and should just get on with it!.
my main problem is that i feel ill very often - it feels like flu but it's not flu!. i feel like i have fever but my temperature is quite normal (i also notice this in my eyes and sinuses), my arms and hands hurt and the worst thing is this incredible fatigue!. cold and flu medicine doesn't help me - all i want is just lie down!. it gets better after a couple of days and then gradually disappears but it keeps coming back, sometimes several times a month!. if i have to go out and do something while i feel ill i sweat terribly and just want to cry because i feel exhausted!.
i also get mouth ulcers very often - the worst thing is when my hard palate (the bit behind front upper teeth) gets sore and i can't eat properly!.
it's been making me very miserable and i know that people think i'm a hypochondriac!. i don't really want to tell the doctor all this because i think doctors in general don't like me and would just tell me to get on with it again!.it may sound strange but i would like to have a diagnosis of some kind even though they already told me there would be nothing they could do anyway!.
what's the best course of action!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should def get a second opinion!. Doctors are supposed to be helpful, and if yours is not then you should consult another one!. Although it's true there is no cure for lupus, there are certainly things they could do to treat your symptoms/disease!. I have lupus and I know what it feels like when peole think you're crazy!. My family did at first!. But you're the only one who knows your own body and you can tell when something's not right!. I had a bunch of little symptoms like you before I got diagnosed, but I ignored them!. Then one day I got these really sharp chest pains like I was having a heart attck and had to be rushed to the er!. You don't wanna wait until something that drastic happens to you!. Besides maybe if they find it sooner they could start treatments and prevent some of the damage the disease may cause!. Sorry to ramble on!. It's just I know where you're coming from!. But yeah I would def see another doctor to have the tests ran and see what they think!. Good Luck and if you need to talk you can email me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pray , and I am not being sarcastic !. Numerous studies prove that those who pray and believe are much more likely to see their diagnosis prove to be good !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with his answer but also go to a doctor explain your symptoms and ask him to do an ANA test, its screens for lupus and other autoimmune diseases, I had all the symptoms too they ran multiple tests and I have an autoimmune disorder not disease that took a really long time for them to find it but its a definite way for a straight answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lupus is on the rise in todays society because of stress (things needing to be done yesterday, too many people in the world) poor diet and less exercise!.

If you are serious about doing something about it then read this book by immunologist William Joel Meggs : "The Inflammation Cure"!.

In the book Professor Meggs states that research shows that some foods have been shown to promote inflammation and some foods reduce inflammation!. He gives a diet plan to follow and also outlines other strategies to reduce inflammation which is the basis of many disorders and conditions including Lupus and other autoimmune and arthritic conditions, heart disease and cancers!.

Staying out of the sun is a major must for Lupus sufferers!.

You could buy the book or read it online at Google Books Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with everyone here!. You should get and ANA test done, and then get an second opinion!. I have Lupus and we do have all those symptoms you have mention, so you should get checked ASAP!. Becasue if you do infact have lupus and leave it untreated for too long then you may become very ill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
