Answers:

If she passes whatever she eats through her bowels, it means she can't retain food and thus have to eat more, especially fluids.

Vomitting is more serious. Please inform the doc right away to get IV for anti-vomitting drugs. Let the doc know she she cannot keep food and most probably the doc will prescibe anti-vomitting drugs such as Motilium, which she can take before her meals.
I'm a nose cancer survivor and went through chemo before. I went for chemo one morning and remembered missing one dosage of Motilium in the evening. After that, I was vomitting like mad, even though the next morning I had taken Motilium before my breakfast. My stomach was empty and vomitting air instead. My mum got freaked out and sent me back to the clinic where they put me on drip for anti-vomitting drugs. Though I stopped vomitting after the IV, I did not have much appetite. The following day, I was so weak, I almost blacked out while bathing.

Please please get the doc to prescribe anti-vomitting drugs during the chemo and to take home after the chemo if possible. Cancer paitients need the energy to fight this long battle.

I don't know if Ensure is available in wherever you are staying. It's a powered product, available in a few flavors and you can mix it with water and it would taste like a milkshake. It's appetizing and has loads of vitamins and minerals. If your sis has no appetite, she can take this food-replacement product instead. If I'm not mistaken, Ensure is also avaliable as a drink in a "grab-and-go" packet-form, where you can just insert in a straw and drink from there.
