I threw up my doxycycline...should i still be fine?!

Question: I threw up my doxycycline!.!.!.should i still be fine!?
So i was put on a one week prescription of doxycycline for chlamydia, but this morning I threw up one of the pills!. I called my doctor and she said to continue with the prescription and if I'm still feeling the symptoms after I have completed the pills then I should call back to schedule an appointment for a check-up, which would take a month and a half to get!. I had already taken azythromicin( the one day dose) to get rid of it, but it didn't work, so I had to get on the doxycycline and I really dont want to take anymore pills!. So I was wondering do you think I should be fine even if I missed(threw up) one of the pills or will I be back in the doctors office getting another prescription to cure this because I missed one pill!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should be fine if you missed only one pill!. Try taking the doxy with food rather than on and empty stomach, because on an empty stomach it can really make people sick!. Also, don't take it with milk or other dairy or calcium-containing foods because it will chelate the doxy (the medicine will form an insoluble precipitate with the calcium and might not be absorbed as well)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I want you to know that Chlamydia and gonorrhea are the two most misdiagnosed STD's in the world!. They error on the side of you having it rather than not having it so the medical field thinks it is better to treat than wait for the lab which may not be right but they hope it won't kill you!. So maybe that is why you haven't been cured yet!. If you have a yeast infection of BV or some other non sexually related bacteria you will still see the symptoms!. I suggest getting a Second opinion!. Also if you are throwing up you are not getting the full course of treatment and they should have you on a medication you can tolerate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
