Is cardiac ablation worth the risk?!
Question:
Is cardiac ablation worth the risk?
Just diagnosed with psvt, but after one bad episode ( my first one for 10 years of so ), I've had a cardiac ablation recommended. My cardiologist makes it sound like no big deal, however the research on the net warns of some nasty complications that could arise ie. Death, Stroke, internal bleeding ..... Of course if I don't have it the same risks hold true. I'm just wondering if it's worth alternative therapy and preventative steps, as opposed to the surgery. I'm thinking if I have another attack then the surgery is probably a no brainer, but having it right away seems a bit hasty. Am I right?

The web gives research statistics, in my opinion you should listen to your cardiologist.
No alternate medicine will NOT help you out.
