Plz help!! its kinda urgent?

are tumors seen in all types of cancers?i mean i know tumors are visible in breast cancer..but what about blood cancer, colon cancer and stuff???are tumors visible in these types of cancers???if not then why??

No, tumors are not seen in all cancers. For instance, in Leukemia, cancer of the bone marrow and blood, when they check your blood your white blood cells will be highly elevated and they look for a Philadelphia chromosome which is present in CML. That is what my son was diagnosed with. There is no tumor present in that type of cancer. Tumors may be malignant (cancerous) or benign (non cancerous) like a lipoma, so a tumor does not necessarily mean cancer either.
