Cancer in young people?!

Question: Cancer in young people!?
Apart from the obvious cancer in children that is Leukaemia, I always wondered whether people below 16 can get a kind of cancer!? I know it may sound stupid but I never fully understood whether cancer effects a certain age!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Younger people are less likely to have cancer but it does happen!. The reason is because young peoples bodies have had less time to allow for cancer causing cells to develop and have had less exposure to cancer causing agents!.

However, younger people can have all kinds of different cancers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone has cancer cells in them!. It is just a cell that is growing wrong!. Most bodies will use the immune system to get rid of those cells!. Sometimes for unknown reasons, the body does not get rid of those cells and they accumulate causing a tumor!. Kids have the same cells, but usually they are so healthy it doesn't accumulate!. For some reason, sometimes their bodies don't get rid of the cancer cells just like adult's bodies!. Then they form tumors!. Lukemia is the same way - it just forms in the bones, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
