In nursing, how do you position the client with meningitis?
Im reviewing for nclex and out of nowhere that question just popped out of my mind. Does anybody know how you should position the client with meningitis in hospital setting?

If any generalizations other than "position of comfort" would apply: Elevation of the head of the bead to minimize "cerebral edema":An individual with meningitis would likely have some nuchal rigidity and cervical support may be comforting and allay cervical muscle spasm.
