Question: Can someone please explain spitzoid melanoma and prognosis in layman's terms!?
A friends 5 year old son was just diagnosed a with it a couple days ago, I am just looking for information on it, I've searched online and really had limited success!.!.!.thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well a prognosis isn't a disease its just a medical term for diagnosis!. When the doctor knows whats wrong they will say what the prognosis is!. In layman's terms it diagnosis and treatment plan depending on the way the doctor said it!.
Spitzoid melanoma; Well I myself I'm not sure where exactly the Spitzoid is or even the type of skin cancer it is!. But what I do know is Melanoma is a type of skin cancer and probably the most deadly type out there today!.
Treatments include chemo, and Radiation!. But please know that experimental treatments might be a option!. Some experimental treatments are known to show stunning result!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
