Having buiding work in the house and coughing and sneezing........?!

Question: Having buiding work in the house and coughing and sneezing!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
My landlords got some builders in to do some work on the house!. Nothing huge but fixing a dodgy wooden window frame, door frame and reparing a hole in the kitchen ceiling (think this had got quite bad due to damp)!. Anyway, they've been working for two days and the whole house feels soooooooo dusty!. In the air, even on my hands and feet when i haven't been touching things!. I'm coughing and sneezing like mad and my breathing isn't great - i'm asthmatic!. Just wondering 1!. How dust like this can fill the air so much and linger!. 2!. What i can do about the coughing and sneezing - is this normal!? and 3!. Any tips to get rid of this when they're finnished!. Doesnt feel like a quick dusting session is going to do much!. Many thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If the builders are any good, they should have a good clean up when they have finished the work before they leave!. Try leaving a window or door open for a while, to clear the air!. You can buy cleaning up wet wipes, the builders might even have a tub, wipe all surfaces with these, wait for dust to settle and then do again!. Then spray surfaces with a good wax free polish!. This will make the surfaces repel the dust and make the place smell nice!. Find the soft brush attachment on your hover and go over curtains, blinds, lampshades, chairs and sofas, and any other soft furnishings!. Hopefully that should do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
