Is it possible to get a rash on the legs and arms from dryer sheets?!

Question:

Is it possible to get a rash on the legs and arms from dryer sheets?

I have just been to the Dr's for a bug bite type of rash that resemble red, raised, bug bite-looking bumps on my legs mostly. They can't really figure it out and dismissed it as flea/gnat/bug bites. The problem is, I have been wearing long pants, wear long pants to bed, have not been outside or exposed to anything outside, and am an extremely clean person. The bites have appeared increasingly over the past 2-3 nights (just wake up w/more each day) and my boyfriend who sleeps next to me almost naked (while I am fully clothed) has nothing; no bites, no marks. So I am wondering if these are allergic reactions to a new, stronger dryer sheet that we just bought last week? I do have sensitive skin, so I am wondering if this could be a possible answer.

Answers:

Yes,
my ex-wife had the same reaction one time when we bought some "generic" dryer sheets.
They went away when she wore clothes that weren't done with the sheets, and then returned when she wore the clothes that were done with them.
