Diabetic person after consuming sweet food, takes plenty of water, will it reduc!

Question:

Diabetic person after consuming sweet food, takes plenty of water, will it reduces blood sugar level?

Answers:

Drinking lots of fluid will "flush" your blood stream, and therefore it will reduce your sugar level. But it is NOT a solution to eating the wrong foods. It will make only a slight difference in your glucose level. It is better than nothing, but don't even think that it can let you eat whatever you want.

Still, if you have made a mistake, drinking lots of water is one of the things you can do to get back to safe glucose levels. Another is getting some exercise. Going for a fast walk for 20 minutes or half an hour can help a lot.

Wait at least 45 minutes to an hour after eating, then get some significant exercise (a stroll to the end of the block and back is not going to be enough). You need to wait to allow your glucose level to peak, so that the exercise comes on the downslope. If you don't, the body may not recognize that you have a lot of food in you that is about to be digested, and it may ADD to the glucose levels rather than diminish them. Good luck!!
