HPV test result: Within Normal Limits..?
Today i received in the mail that results of my hpv cultures are within normal limits....
What does it mean? Its Saturday, OB office is close. Thanks.
Answers:
It means that you have HPV but that you have the infection that your immune system will get rid of it. Now, you will always have HPV, there is no cure, but you don't have any of the warts strains or the cancer strains. You should be very thankful that this is the type that you got. I was diagnosed with HPV 3 weeks ago and is still waiting to hear back from my biopsy.
I'm happy that you don't have to worry about warts or cancer...but just be careful.
