Why do i have a yellowish phlegm?!
Question: Why do i have a yellowish phlegm!?
its been a month now that im having this phlegm that i have to sneeze out every now and then!. At first the color is clear then just this week it became yellowish!. ive been drinking alot of water and it seems like it wont go away!. Im also drinking vitamins!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well yellow phlegm means that your leukocytes (white blood cells) are working to fight an infection!. This is a good sign!. You should see your doctor to make sure your body gets over the infection!. A physician will usually prescribe a steroid to push the infection out, an antibiotic to help kill the infection, and a cough syrup!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
the answer is you have copd like i do!. when i had this problem starting I went directly to my local hospitals emergency room and got checked out for it and exrayed!. and their the dr found the problem and then stuck me on my first inhaler for the problem!. now i,m on 5 inhalers aday with an electric nebulizer my dr had gotten for me from another pharmacy!. dont be surprised if you live your life on in halers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
