Is this strep throat?!
Question: Is this strep throat!?
My tonsils really hurt, and it hurts to yawn, swallow, etc!. But if I drink a lot of water, it feels better for a few moments!. I don't have a fever, nausea or any other symptoms of strep!. I'm not tired and other than my tonsils, I don't feel sick at all!. What on Earth could this be!? I also have some phlegm, and I've been sneezing a bit, but not that much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like tonsillitis - which are just inflamed, overworked lymph glands!. You could also have environmental allergies !.!.!. change of seasons generally bring on 'outbursts' of allergy symptoms in some people!. Regarding strep !.!.!. you would definitely KNOW if you had it - you would see white patches on the back of your throat - and it HURTS! That's when you should see a doctor for antibiotics - because there are a lot of secondary conditions that stem from untreated strep !.!.!. not to mention that it is very contagious!. Possibly if your saliva is thicker than your usual!. You should take a glass of water & put lemon juices in it!. Then put a little sprinkle of salt in the liquid and drink it!. It helps me a lot when my throat feels that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
