SCOLIOSIS QUESTION! please?
I have an S curve, its both 38 degrees.
My doctor said that its too late to get a brace and i might need surgery if it gets worse, but last time i came (3 months ago) it was 34, and 37 and he said we would be talking about getting a brace next time, but now im there, he skipped it!
He also said that hes not even sure if braces work! What should i do? Is he right, is it too late for me to get a brace?

its not too late to get a brace but when your spine gets to 41 then they do surgery.
if your young like in your early teens then the brace wont work bc you still have too much growing to do and the brace will not hold the curve for that long.
also if you havnt had your period yet then thats worse bc you def have more growing to do and thats when it gets really agressive and braces dont work.
